Robert Cray: UK tour starts end June 2012
Five-time Grammy award winning legend and Blues Hall of Fame Inductee ROBERT CRAY will release a brand new studio album “Nothin But Love” on Monday August 27th, his UK tour kicks off on June 26th with a date at the Shepherds Bush Empire (as part of London Blues Fest). Robert will be available for face to face interviews in London the following day (June 27th).
“Nothin But Love” is Cray’s 16th studio album and marks the latest milestone in a career that has produced 15 Grammy award nominations, over 12 million record sales worldwide, thousands of sold out concerts across the globe, and his own signature line of Fender guitars. Since the release of his 1986 break-out album “Strong Persuader”, Cray has performed and recorded alongside Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Bonnie Raitt and John Lee Hooker. Cray was recently inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame at the age of 57; making him the youngest living legend to receive the prestigious honour.
In addition to his London Blues Fest concert at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire on June 26th, Robert Cray other UK dates include; Glasgow 02 ABC (June 28), Birmingham Town Hall (June 29), Warrington Pyramid & Parr Hall (June 30), Holmfirth Picturedrome (July 2), Reading Sub89 (July 3) and Brighton Concorde 2 (July 4).
